Default Abu Dhabi Municipality Salaries

A question for anyone that works or knows about Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM)...does anyone know what the salary packages are like working for the ADM? Do they pay quite well compared to private sector? Is it a place you'd recommend as a workplace?

Yes - I know that its the domain of the locals mainly - and it would be a lot easier granted if I spoke the language. Mind you, being the only westerner working at my old employment in Saudi - it didn't hamper me too much. They've contacted me in regards to certain skill-sets they want to bring on board...I'm flying in this weekend to meet them - so I'll make a judgement call from my trusty old gut feel...

ADM are expanding at the moment due to the fact that they are taking over the public spaces of a lot of the new developments. They have a lot of Consultants being taken on as they are struggling with the in-house resource.

There is also a lot of politics in play, the locals are normally ok but it is the other Arab nationalities that have been there for years that are feeling somewhat precious with the impending changes.
