Fairly simple. if you're going long term (more than 3 years) then probably ABD. Short term, Dubai. QS's are in more demand in ABD though.

I have been working in Abu Dhabi for exactly 5 weeks now. I am from London and I like Abu Dhabi as it has good balance of things to do for whole family. Comute times are lesser than Dubai, rents are less and you can get to dubai in an hour and half or so.

According to Financial Times salaries are higher in Abu Dhabi

wouldnt agree that rents are cheaper in AD....

If you live the life of an extra from Absolutely Fabulous and your life revolves around sex, booze, beachclubs, bubbly and brunch (lucky sods) then Dubai is the place for you.

If however you are normal, enjoy the odd night out, nice meal and quality family time, then AD will suit you fine...

i travel to Dubai every weekend....
