About to move to Riyadh.
Hi,
I am soon going to be leaving Kenya to go and work and live with a Saudi family in Riyadh.
Prior to coming to Kenya, I worked and lived in Jeddah. So I am more than familiar with Saudi.
As I will be moving to Saudi alone this time and do not know Riyadh at all I was wondering if there were any people who could tell me a bit more about Riyadh and to put my Dads mind at rest if there were any girls my age who are also in the same position as me and would like to get to know eachother.

Has your employer stated you will live in the family home?
Will you have "freedom of movement" as legally entitled to expats or will your employer state you aren't allowed to leave the premises without him (a man)?
Will your employer approve visas for you to visit/holiday abroad during the year between annual holidays?
Sorry to raise these negative questions, but I hear complaints from many female expats coming here and these questions may very well be relevant to your continuing lifestyle.

Your passport is no use if you have no exit visa. You need your sponsor's permission to leave KSA.
