10 year old cars in Dubai?
Just want to clarify something for Mrs M (and myself).
She seems to think that cars older than 10 years old cannot be sold in Dubai and have to be scrapped.
I seem to rememebr them trying to bring this in a year or so ago and it didn't happen.
Ours will be 9 years old when we plan to leave.
Is this true? is it best to sell and buy newer?

If you can find a buyer.....9 years in the sandstorms and heat of summer?
Mines only a year old but whenever I open the bonnet I could make a great sand castle....

I paid 8000dhs for a Range Rover Discovery with only 120,000ks on the clock and other than a few minor repairs it has been fine.
