Hi guys,

Am new to the site and just looking for any info on networking events in Abu Dhabi coming up.

My wife is looking for a job as a PA or executive secretary in AD and is getting no replies from any of the so called agencies she is registering with. We are starting to realise that you have to do everything for yourself out here!

She did have an offer from Etihad, jumped through all of the visa, security and contract hoops only for 4 weeks of no contact and then they pulled the offer claiming cost cutting! She really wants to find something now so any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Norm-UK organises a networking (pissup) evening everynow and again. It might be worth sending him a private message or posting this in the 'Sandpit' section. Not many people look into this section.

Ok thanks, I did try searching for him from seeing other posts but couldnt find him...

Will try again, have also put a thread in the sandpit about jobs but will add a bit about the networking...
