Re: Middle East offer
Hi guys back again with another offer from another company.
To be located in Doha,
Package 30,000 Rial all in.
Includes medical
Yearly flights home after one year of service.
23 calendar days off.
No housing or car allowance.
From reading on the forum rents can be some expensive to say the least.
Just looking to get some feedback in regards to the offer.
Much appreciated.

Hi guys and gals. Love the site, lots of useful information!
Wondering if I can get your input on an offer I've received for the UAE managing a marketing center.
10000 dirhams a month basic salary.
Housing covered by employer and utilities.
Yearly flight home.
30 calender days leave.
Medical after 3 months.
No car allowance or communication allowance.
I've tried the is it worth it spread sheet but seems out dated.
My question is will 10000 dirhams suffice for a single guy to save?
Any input would be appreciated.

Re: Middle East offer
Shite again.
You will spend 1/3 to 1/2 of your monthly on rent and utilities.
Calendar days 23 is awful. That's about 2+ weeks of annual vacation depending on how they calculate weekends. You will want need to get out of qaatar more often than that.

Re: Middle East offer
Thank you for that.
What do you think would be a realistic counter offer?
I'm not a flashy guy be any means but would like to live somewhere relatively decent.
