Karbala, Iraq Job offer - Help
Hi All,
Newbie Here.
So I'm in the situation where I am awaiting on a offer from HR to work on the construction of the new airport in Karbala, Iraq.
Can anyone give me an idea of the current situation in the area? Looking online it seems reasonably safe.
Also can any give me an idea of what sort of package/offer to be looking for. The only parts I know at the moment is that the rotation is either 2 months on 2 weeks off or 5 months on 1 month off, flights to Iraq and back to the UK are included and that I would be living on a Compound at the site.
I have a masters in Civil Engineering with 9 years experience, but am not Chartered yet. I do have some middle east experience but that was working in KSA.
Any advice/ information would be of help
