I would highly appreciate any sort of advice. I have been offered a job in Riyad. Currently living in UAE with family and kids. I will be working there from Sunday to Thursday and flying back on the weekends to Dubai to see the family.

They have sent me the following offer (which i will counter offer).

1) Basic Monthly Salary - 7,407 USD
2) Housing Allowances - 1,852 USD
3) Transportation Allowance - 740 USD
4) Total Monthly Package - 10,000 USD.

Medical Insurance "Class A" whatever that is.
30 days Annual Leave
1 Return ticket to home country every 12 months.

I will increase my overall package to 20% and will request for 12,000 USD per month.

Is there anything else that is usually given and would this be sufficient for myself whilst family in Dubai.

Would appreciate advice on this.

What about education for children in UAE ? Who pays for that ?

Do you have permanent residence permit for UAE ? What is the basis of your stay there ?

Unlikely that they would pay anything towards family unless you are coming on family rather than single status. I'd assume they might expect that your family would then be in KSA not outside.

Scot, yes I'm currently working in the UAE, but been offered a job in KSA. Don't want to move the family as my daughter is in school etc.

You need a visa to stay in UAE, unless you are an Emirati. How will you organise that ?

Scot if I was Emirati I don't think I will be working else then Dubai.

Secondly with regards to visa there is many ways to sort this out including exit-entry from Oman (British Passport holders).

On what basis will your family maintain residence in the UAE ? I am curious. Things have changed since my time as a "Khaleeji"

Schools will want proof of residence, so a tourist visa updated every so often with a Hatta run will not work...

You need to think this through more....

They will also ask for an EID from Parents

I think it is not possible to go through with this plan !
