Hello to everyone reading my thread.

I have a question to all people in Abu Dhabi or anywhere in ME in this instance regarding a job opportunity with a company in Abu Dhabi. As I have been burned before, you can't blame me for being cautious!

The company is ACC-construction company I believe based in Abu Dhabi. My question is to all who know anything about the company or perhaps work for it. Is it credible, do they pay on time, is it a good company to work for, are they winning contracts in these though times-anything you know really.

Firstly, you posted over the weekend which is always quieter and secondly, it may just be that no one has any information about that company.

I know of Al Arrab Contracting Company (ACC) with offices in Al Quoz, Dubai. They have a website www.alarrab.ae and are involved in several major construction projects. Unfortunately, my only contact (Craig Robertson, their Commercial Manager) recently told me he was leaving the company. Sorry I cannot be more helpful.

ACC is the Arabian Construction Company and they have been around for years. Their sponsor has wasta so they win lots of lots of work and have recently won a number of jobs in Abu Dhabi.

I know that ACC are a reliable Contractor from the Client's prospective but I am not sure how they are as employers.

I do. ACC are a generalist, and have done some biggish projects. If it is the building field - it should be ok. They are attempting to break into some of the big infrastructure projects, with mixed success.

Paying on time? No-one here does.
