According with your calculation, How much do you think that you can save in UAE with the salary proposed and living as you do in the UK?

I am from South Africa, no one here will accept that offer, for operator the lowest we will go is 15000 AED , otherwise it is not worthy to go, even with benefits they give, because the cost of living in UAE. For myself also waiting for offer will not accept anything less than 25000AED. I made that mistake in i was working in Saudi before. it is all about saving money .

You are absolutely right, in UAE you need to control your self to save, because every thing is available, but compare to Saudi we can save around 100% because there is no social life. I was in Saudi for six long year.

The big thing is when are we going to get offer? its long waiting, I don't know why did they held interview, they did said 8 weeks but now its been more then 8 weeks, in my opinion they are playing with our emotion. If you call TSI they always says you will receive but when even they don't know, I have stop calling TSI and stopped thinking about Al Hosn.

When did you go for interview? I agree with you, will not settle for less than 15000 AED. Been for an interview a year ago with Aramco as well, got offered 9000$. Did not take it as I was offered single status. They were not willing to negotiate on that.

I went in the beginning of Feb 2013 ,but know it will take sometime before offers will come ,as they are still busy with construction so there is no hurry from their side. these guys don't negotiate , as they know they can get someone else next on list.

There are 50 positions to be staffed in rotation (10x2) for more than 20 month.
