I said that every situation is different, For example, if one is waiting on the K3, gets a visitors visa or travels under the VWP and gets in BIG trouble with the law in the US.. that might very well jeopardize the K3 visa.
So Relax!!

Yes, it's legal. And yes, they can send you back home.
The problem is that to enter as a tourist, you have to convince
the inspecting officer that you do not intend to immigrate, despite
the fact that you have filed all these papers to allow you to immigrate.
You've got to convince them that you really truly do intend to return
home -- your ties to your home country should look a lot stronger than
your ties to the US.
People have done it succesfully; others have been denied. To improve
your chances, bring lots of evidence of ties to your home country, including
letters from your employer, ties to property (a home that you own?), etc.
If you're denied, be prepared to politely go home without a fight.

just one more question: In the case I get there and they don´t let me in, will that mean any delay on my K-3 or my I-130 ?
It´s not fare that they let you in or not depending which country do you come from. But I guess is the way it works, and there´s nothing you can do about it. At least you have tried everything !
Zeo, could you go visit your wife instead ? or meet in an country where she can travel to ? I wish they speed up soon in the NBC !

I was denied entry before we started the K3 process and I got my application approved (fairly quick!) .. When I went for my interview.. the conof didn't even mention it, he is very kind don't worry!
Ps: Denied entry.. because of previous USCIS mess!
