sydney consulate questions
How did the interview go there? What did they look at the most as far as forms
the affidavit ect? I was wondering if anyone who went there could help me and
post some of their experiences or failures. My fiancee is due there next week!

Re: sydney consulate questions
Hi,
I had my interview just over month ago, and it went really smoothly. All the
paperwork was in order and the total wait was less than an hour (I had my
interview in the morning). First, you go to one window, and the woman takes
your papers and asks a few questions. Then, you go and sit down and wait until
you are called to the second window where a guy hands you some papers to sign,
and then you wait some more and go back to the first window to collect your
visa and yellow envelope when called. I had piles of letters, phone bills,
photos, etc, but they didn't look at any of them. I also brought along my
X-ray, but all they needed was the results. Its better to be safe and bring all
the above material because they may ask for it during the interview.
I hope all goes well for you and your fiance, and then its on to the next
step...the wedding! (Ours is next week!)
