Default Starting CR-1 Process

Hi Everyone

Could anyone point me in the direction of any info regarding whats required in the first part of the CR-1 application?
We were due to get married last month but have been delayed due to the virus and not being able to travel! We now want to see if we can start putting our application together so we can submit it as soon as we have our rearranged wedding but are not sure where to start with what information we need to gather!
Any help or pointing in the direction of a head with info in if it already exists is much appreciated!
Thanks!

www.uscis.gov. Look up the I-130 form and instructions.

Thanks Rene

I have found the formsyou suggested, 1 question, thereis an option to file online, is this something people have done or is it best to fill out everything physically and mail it all in?

Thanks

To be honest, I did this so long ago that filing online wasn't an option. Hopefully someone can come in here to say whether they've filed an I-130 online. But I would say if the option is there on the USCIS site, then it must be ok.

I filed my N-400 online and it was a very smooth process. I would have no hesitation in filing an I-130 that way.

My USC wife filed I130 online using the USCIS website in August. Seemed to be fine. We are in the queue at Nebraska Service Center. Welcome and good luck!
