I received my Social Security Card in the mail today. What's more, the card carries NO endorsement i.e "not valid for employment" or "valid for employemeny only with INS authorisation". It's a bit ironic because I dont intend to work! Before anyone gets too jealous though, I am still struggling over the blasted vaccination issue!

Timeline:
27 June first NOA
12 November 2nd NOA
8 December K1 Visa granted London
17 December arrived Illinois
8 January Applied for SSN
16 January SSN card received
(16 February.....Marriage!)
