Spouse Interview in Dublin coming up?
My Wife is in Dublin and has her interview next week for her visa. I am
a US Citizen and this is the last step in the process (I-130). All of
the appropriate documents have been filed etc. Has anyone any
experience of the process here?
I am not planning on attending the interview. Should I consider
travelling to be there for any reason?
Thanks!

I've been through it, more or less the same as yours. Your wife will have a successful interview. She will be issued an Immigrant Visa (class CR-1 or IR-1 depending on how long you've been married). The visa may/may not be issued on the same day.
She will present the visa (in her passport) and a Mysterious Brown Envelope to the officers at her first stop in the US (POE/Point of Entry). One of them will take away her envelope and stamp her visa. That endorsed visa is her proof of her Permanent Resident status until her Green Card arrives in the mail. If she checked the 'yes' box on DS-230II, a Social Security card will also be sent to her automatically after entry.
She can read about her new rights/responsibilities as a PR here:
