Default Some more questions before AOS interview

Hi everyone!
Sorry to be so pesty about AOS interview and asking so many questions.
1)In my check list for AOS interview they want CERTIFIED copy of Marriage license. It means they dont want a simple copy by copy machine but a signature/stamp of some authority on the copy?
Also, are CERTIFIED copies like mentioned above required for ALL submitted documents like birth certificates etc?
2)Last question if you dont mind, please.
I submitted my Affidavit of support documents (I-864) with all other documents when applied for AOS. I assume they have all of them, since they actually scheduled me for an interview, otherwise they would require those missing documents.
I do not happen to have a copy of Affidavit of support paperwork. Will they need it in the interview? Coz my letter said bring it(unless already submitted).
So i hope in my case , since i already submitted them, they wont suddenly ask for them again. Just being cautious here.
Thanks a lot

When you filed AOS, you should have sent a photocopy of the Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate. Bring the original one (the one with the original stamp or seal) to the interview, to show them. Also bring another photocopy, in case they want to keep it. Same goes for the birth certificates.

They probably won't ask for a new, updated I-864 unless something about the sponsor's income has changed. Do bring your latest tax return.

Best Wishes,
Rene

We just had our AOS interview this week, and they wanted to see
originals of some things but asked for a copy for their records.
Anything I had already submitted, they didn't ask for.

They did ask for my last years 1040 tax filing, since it had been 18
months since filing and the last tax record they had was 2003.

Other than that, they just wanted a copy to keep as long as we had
originals to display.

Well, my interview is tomorrow and i am starting to freak out.
Want to double check again-i have original marriage license and just a simple copy of it, made by copy machine, without any stamp/signature of authorities to certify it. Just a simple copy is fine, if they ask for it? My husband double questioned it and made me nervous

That's correct. Don't worry. As long as you have the original one that DOES show the stamp/signature/seal on it, you're fine.

My guess is that you wont' even be asked to show that. It's already in your file from when you submitted the I-485, anyway. Just bring it along in case.
