Default Secondary AOS..

Hi All.. I am a back, helloe to Rita, the Grinch and the vast others I have
missed.

I can not remember what paper work I need to AOS again. I got my Temporary
GC a year an half ago and now its coming up to time to renew the Temp Card
for the fancy dancey Ten Year card * what a waste of the filing fee's the
first time around, only missed being married for two years then by two
monthes.. * What forms am I going to ned again.. Was it the I-765 that
was needed to AOS status. If some one can give me a quick refresher course
in what is needed for this interview I would appreciate it.
Thank you again..

You want to have the conditional status removed.
That is I-751...
Not AOS..

Hi there,

We go through ours in the middle of next year - gulp :-)

From what I understand you just need proof you are living together. We;re
going to take our plane tickets (Went to jamaica together a couple of months
ago for our anniversary and that was wonderful), we have credit cards which
show the same account numbers, bank statements addressed to the both of us,
our joint tax returns (Filed electronically so need to find how to get a
hard copy), our dog adoption papers showing the dog is owned by me at this
address, letters from friends, family, the condo association, photo's etc
..... Just take similar and you should be fine (Hope so anyway as that's
what i'm going to be taking LOL).

Good luck.

Chris

You are filing I-751.
Other info needed is on the INS website under the I-751 info.
You file it between 0 and 90 days before your status expires.

TTTTTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

You've been missing so long thought you and the gurls all returned to Canada. Are you still it the land of milk and honey or is that golden skin tones and celuliteless thighs ;-)))

Hey Tim, you've forgotten the basics of AOSing already? You don't "renew" the conditional card. You remove the conditions by filing the I-751 at the service center. Do it 90 days before your 2 year green lamentated card expires. And the good news is if you give them everything they ask for and more, you won't have to interview at all. But then again with the birth of your little US citizen a while back, you won't have much of a problem proving the legitimacy of your marriage. Have a go at downloading the I-751 from the INS website, the fee is $145 I believe and then check out the experiences for filing the I-751 at:

Hugs and don't get lost again

Rita
