renewing EAD and AP (Cleveland)
How soon is too soon to renew? I'm looking at the timelines for Cleveland
and they are *very* behind there. Mine expire in February - should I be
applying for renewal now?
And what do I show as proof of having filed AOS? Cleveland only issues a
cashier's receipt, not an NOA (at least they haven't issued an NOA up until
now and I filed AOS last year in October and it has been confirmed by others
that this is all I'm going to get). Will a copy of that receipt and a copy
of my current EAD and AP suffice? I also don't have my original I-94 in my
passport any longer because I used my AP... but I'm sure that's okay. Right?

USCIS issues Employment Authorization Documents (EAD) in the following categories:
Renewal EAD: You should apply for a renewal EAD six months before your original EAD expires.
