Default Ready Status!

Hi Expats,

So my wife and I currently live in London and are hoping to move to Delaware in early 2020. My wife and 2 year old daughter are American citizens and I am seeking entry through a family visa.

We have got this far with our application:

30th April - I-130 approved
23rd June - DS-260 submitted
15th August - Medical Assessment Completed.
21st August - Application went into 'Ready' status

We are waiting for information on booking an Immigration Interview at the Embassy in London.

What has everybody else's experience been with this? Does anybody know how long were are likely to be waiting for an interview date? I have tried to speak to the Embassy a few times but keep getting referred to the website.

This is quite stressful, we just want to move and can't really settle until we get some sort of development or information.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
nearly in usa.

Interview timeframes can often be 6-8 weeks in the future from booking date.

Keep in mind the immigrant visa will be valid for 6 months from the date of the medical. So no matter when your interview date is, the visa will probably only be valid until Feb 2020.

I believe you book your own interview date online, but I'm not sure how, sorry.

The interview is booked through a website https://ais.usvisa-info.com/ but whenever I try to book it, it says "Case Number is not ready for interview yet." It's really annoying.
