Question on AOS
My wife filed AOS in Chula Vista last January 2004 and received a receipt on the same day. Am I supposed to get a case number where I can check on the internet where my case is standing? This is K-1 type. Please help.

No, you don't get a case number to check on the internet. But you can go to the BCIS case status on-line page to check on your local office processing times... Click on the District Office then click where you filed your AOS. Chula Vista reports processing I-485s with a receipt dates of May 1, 2003 currently.
