Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers

I'm going to be Ok! My sonogram results were fine! I'm still having some side effects from the medicine that I've been on (Cipro) though. Joints really ache and stomach is pretty swollen. The doctor said she was quite releived as well. Said she didn't want to alarm me but was quite concerned given my history of cancer and the symptoms that I had. Thank you everyone for your good wishes and prayers. I really believe that they helped. I also hope everyone else going through any other medical issues will be ok as well.

One thing to always bear in mind...the doctors here are ultra cautious for fear of litigation and will often send you for all sorts of tests just to cover themselves. At the time this can quite often be very worrying for the patient when all along there is nothing to worry about.
Sometimes something nasty is detected in it's early stages...which is what happened to me and I am very thankful for that.

I actually saw the doctor today. They are open 7 days a week. I left a message for the first doctor but she did not return my calls. The doctor that I saw the other week and today was not very impressed with the comments of the first doctor. I know ovarian cancer is hard to detect. The symptoms mimic so many other problems and or illnesses and most people ignore them. I had a friend that died at 43 and two cousins that died of ovarian cancer . If the sonogram showed anything I was going to get the C125 blood test. Thank you everyone again.

The oncologist reckoned the source of the first cancer was the ovarian.
She had about 18 months of chemo and has been good every since.
She has always been a positive, active person and strong willed, I think that helps.
I hope all goes well with you and I mention my Mum to show there are plenty of people that have a positive outcome.
