Our K1 Update
Hi, Everyone,
As we speak the mover's are packing up my fiance' Andrew.
He is leaving
Adelaide, AU October 19th bright and early and will arrive in Chicago this
Saturday afternoon, also October 19th. The wedding is planned for November 15,
and all we needed was the groom! Now we are working on the bestman who hasn't
purchased his ticket yet! His mum, dad, little brother, and best friend are
coming for the wedding but had to wait for Andrew's visa approval to purchase
plane tickets. Andrew's interview was September 23 and he purchased his plane
ticket that night. We have been preoccupied since than but will be back soon
enough working on AOS after the wedding. Thank you everyone for being so
supportive! Good luck to everyone. Hang in there.

excuse my ignorance... but... what's a packet??
Apparently Sydney is sending me a "packet" too... god knows what it is
tho...
my fiance and I have really no idea what we're doing just flying by the
seats of ours pants it seems..

don't panic, the notice of approval is all you need. NOA gets confused. it
actually stands for notice of action, not notice of approval.
the first noa (notice of action) is pretty much a receipt telling you they have
your papers.
the second noa (notice of action) is an approval (hopefully!). if you have a
paper confirming your petition is approved that's the second noa - the
approval.
as rete says, guard it with your life - you need it when you file for aos.
