Default Our K1 Timeline (so far so good)

US-UK Couple, thought I would share our timeline with everyone...

04/21/03 - Mailed I-129F petition fpr K1 Visa
04/25/03 - Received return reciept
04/30/03 - 1st NOA
05/06/03 - Case approved (online)
05/12/03 - 2nd NOA
05/14/03 - Letter from NVC saying they were sending the petition to US
embassy in London
05/21/03 - Recieved packet from the embassy
.....

It's been all good so far, wish I had sent off for my police certificate
sooner, didn't realise it would only take a month to get this far! I sent
off for that a couple of weeks ago so I guess it'll be here in a few weeks.

Good luck to you all,
Barry B.

Hi Barry

We're going through Vermont. We have a timeline close to yours.

What forms did you get in Packet 3 from London?.

Yup, it was Vermont.

And for what it's worth I'm the one in the UK :-)

Yes you have to get it for a K1 visa, and if you're in the UK I would get it
sooner rather than later.
If you do a search on 'police' I'm sure you'll pull up a few posts regarding
this matter.

Bazzab,

Thank you and the best of Luck also. sounds like yours is going very very well. Keep it up !!

In the packet you received, in addition to getting the police report, are there other things in the packet that will take lots of time to prepare and get back that my fiancee should be aware of and planning early?? Similar to your suggestion of getting the police report done.

Thanks again for you kindness. This is a great forum with very good people.
