Hi! I'm actor Troy McClure. You may remember me from such threads as
'NYC AOS - I got the much awaited letter!!!!' and 'Cassiedee: tasty
but deadly.'

    >Hello to all... we finally received our AOS interview appointment.

Congratulations! That's tremendous news.

If I may ask, what was the prefix on your case number? Was it
MSC-xxxxxxxxx?

Cheers,

Marco

I rather doubt it Marco but will be looking for her response. Since the intervention of MSC in AOS petitions is relatively new, I would think her processing has been and has always remained within the halls of 26 Federal Plaza. And if that is the case, we NYC users were never given a case number because we never got I-797's

I think her application was in Federal Plaza all along because she got the fingerprinting notice and interview letter together. Unlike mine, I received the FP notice from MSC though I applied in NYC 2 years ago and they did not include any thing about the interview which is very strange to me because I thought that they mail the FP and interview notice at the same time.

I have done my FP 2 weeks ago and have no idea when is the interview will be.

At any rate, it's still nice to know that someone is moving forward from NYC.

Yes, that's what I was trying to establish, when the cut-off point was
for the transfer of cases to MSC. Seems Claire23 filed in Feb '02 and
went to MSC whereas Cassie filed in Jan '02 and didn't.

Cheers,

Marco

HI, MARCO - All we had was a yellow receipt from NYC district office.
We had no prefix number. That's why it was very hard for us to trace
our case with the 800 Customer Service.
