Hi..

I'm new to this process and am trying to determine the best visa option.

I'm a self-employed Canadian citizen, living in Canada. My fiance is an
American citizen living in the US.
I am eligible to work in America with a TN Visa, and I have worked there
previously.

We have two questions:

1) Are there any restrictions if obtain a TN visa, move to America, take a
job with an American company, and then just get married after 6 months or so
into the year of my temporary TN visa? Is this a possibility, or will the
INS assume that I'm simply going there with dual intent?

2) If we go the K-1 route, can we have a non-legal wedding in Canada (no
marriage license) during the K-1 process, and then have a legal wedding in
America within the 90-day limit after obtaining the visa?
