Re: Newbie
Did you actually submit a Subject Access Request (SAR) to the relevant Police Service? This seems like a generic reply to an e-mail stating that to get information you need to submit one.
A request is not a specific form, but a generic letter including all the information you have on yourself and the date/place of the incident. It may also need to be sent to Service HQ rather than the individual station, it depends on the specific Service. |

Re: Newbie
Sorry I forgot to also mention that that reply was addressed to me |
Re: Newbie
Just thought I would update with my timeline :) NOA1 22/03/18 NOA2 20/09/18 NVC received 08/10/18 Case number 16/10/18 I have booked my medical for 7th November so as soon as the embassy gets our petition I am going to book that too. Really starting to feel real now! |
Re: Newbie
Congrats, I’m just coming up to 7 months since my NOA1. Hopefully it’s starting to reach the top of the pile in Nebraska! Keep us updated, I’m still hazy on how long it takes once things start moving. |

Re: Newbie
Nicola, you will not be booking your interview. I believe that is done for you by the NVC. You should be receiving the interview in an email.

Re: Newbie
I know if you are doing DCF, you book your own appointment. As I said, I believe that if the I-130 is processed stateside and goes through NVC, then NVC makes the appointment.

Re: Newbie
You’re K1 right? If so, you do book you’re interview. I did book mine before my medical but that was a gamble I took hoping the medical went well. |
Re: Newbie
K-1's do. But she is not doing a K-1. She went through NVC so it is a CR-1.

Re: Newbie
I’m K1 :) USCIS send our petitions to NVC once they have approved the I-129f and NVC assign a case number and send it on to the embassy. They don’t do anything else there except for the background checks |
Re: Newbie
Oopps! My apologies. I saw NVC and made an ass of myself by assuming you were doing the CR-1. Yes, you will make your own interview appointment.
