Default new rules for EAD renewal from 04/01/2006

Does someone know new rules for EAD renewal, I heard things have
changed since 04/01/2006

I am applying for EAD renewal at SF DO under spousal sponsorship
is the fees has changed?
do i need to submit photographs
will there be any bio-metric appoitment later on

Thanks in advance.

Hi md,

The changes you are thinking of, did not affect EAD renewals for marriage-based AOS cases.

You'll apply for the renewal the same way you applied for the initial EAD, just check the renewal box instead.

Double check www.uscis.gov, Forms & Fees, I-765 to see if the fee has changed since last time you filed.

Not sure where you mailed your initial EAD application, but this time it goes to the Chicago lockbox. Address is on www.uscis.gov.

I believe it does ask you to submit photographs.

Yes, you will go for another biometrics appointment. Not sure how you did it last time, but this time you'll get an appointment letter.

Best Wishes,
Rene
