I see they used your initial entry date into the US. You're lucky that it was a two year EAD, otherwise you'd be like us with something that really isn't valid for a year...........

well at day 181, my husband is finally out of the MSC EAD quagmire. now how long does it usually take for the card to come in the mail?

Been a while since I was last here. We havn't had a computer since we came home end of March! Anyway, managed to borrow one for a few days
Just checking in with my EAD info... I applied for mine end of March and still nothing so I guess it takes more than the 90 days they say it does. No surprise there. No matter, I got my temp EAD and all I need now is my SSN and I can get a job and then buy my own computer or something
Nice to be back, if only for a few days

Hey everyone...
Well, we're finally in New Mexico (arrived July 17th) and have applied for David's EAD... we mailed it to Chicago on July 19th and through USPS tracking found that it arrived on July 21... no NOA yet...
I've been keeping up on posts to this thread in anticipation of joining it... and here we are!
David is working on his next book, so he's busy, but would like a job outside the house so he can make some friends that aren't just through me. I've started a new architecture firm... I already have some work that should take us through the next two months, and I submitted a proposal to design a small office building for the Dept of Transportation. But I can't wait until David can bring in some money, too!!

We got the NOA yesterday, dated 7/27/04... made a fingerprint appt. for next Tuesday 8/3/04... (We could have had an appt. today, Saturday, any day next week... but we decided to make just one trip to Albuquerque and combine this with filing AOS).
No one on this NG has gone through Albuquerque yet, so we'll report on what that's like...
Six months!!!!???? Ouch! We'll definitely be going for the interim EAD when the time comes...

Anyway she said she had had trouble trying to get through to NBC, no number. I said I know, you have to write them and I did that. to no avail. Apparently she is going to try to email, since a fax hasn't worked. She is interested and sympathetic and I hope effective. Fingers crossed.
