Crap! I have lost mine, that's one of the reasons I applied for citizenship because its $400 to replace the green card and $675 for citizenship! Do they actually ask for it?

I maybe wrong but I think you have to surrend it at the N400 interview
When you have your fingerprints done they request it, well they asked me.

Exactly I am sure that you are not the 1st or the last to lose their GC.
Just mention it when you go to your interview to the IO, not sure about the Biometrics.

Ok did fingerprints today.......appt was for 10 am, got there 5-10 mins early,filled in one form, waited approx 15 mins(talked to a nice guy from Belgium)handed to 1st lady, then 5 mins later had fingerprints taken by another lady also very nice with some pretty hitech equipment....out of there by 10.35am
does anyone know if you go to same place for interview?

Interviews are held at the District Office.
Biometrics can be taken at either a DO or your Application Support Center.

So, it depends.

No. You surrender your GC on the day of the oath ceremony, but not before.

OK, it's been a week since I got notification that letter was send with biometrics, do I call or wait a few more days? There is a customer care number in the email

And it sat for a few days on the guy's desk before he sent it to the mail room... and it waited there a few days until it got sorted and sent to the post office... and it waited there for a few days until it got sorted and put on a plane/truck... It's probably not even in the mail yet!

What's the big deal you are already here it is only citizenship. What does it matter if something goes missing in the mail and causes a few weeks delay.
