Since his impairment is mild, he does not need extensive medical care, and it does not cause him to be unable to do anything but drive and get up to make his own tea

Just an update... my husband went to the medical exam today. He didn't get far on the eye exam for his right eye, but he had brought his records from his eye doctor back home. The London doctor made a copy of them, but it did not appear to be an issue; my husband said they told him they would be sending the file to the embassy, so I assume all was well.
