Shouldn't she also have a Consular Report of Birth Abroad? Unless for some reasons, her parents never registered her as a U.S. citizen.

No Consular Report of Birth Abroad. First official documentation for US citizenship was for getting a passport a few years back.

Update to my our tax quandary -

We managed to get our joint sponsors e-filed 2013 tax returns (1040 form) along with the corresponding W-2 form.

My wife and I also managed to get her tax forms for the past couple of years filled out and filed within 2 days. We have had confirmation from the IRS in London that they will return them on Thursday (in time for my interview on Friday) and that if we don't have them back in time we can run across to the IRS building and get them on the day!

Crisis averted!
