Hello to everyone!
I am new to this group and have read some of your posts. I have
been waiting on Nebraska to approve my petition. My NOA is May 17th.
My fiancé is in Ukraine. I still haven't heard from them yet. I have
contacted my congressman's office once and it took them a week to get
back with me and gave me the typical answer. Because of the security
issues and Sept. 11 and yada, yada, yada....that is why everything is
taking longer. So called my senators office. They said pretty much the
same thing but said I should be hearing something within 30 days and if
not to call them back. 30 days go by still nothing. Call the senators
office back, still the same old line. Now I'm really starting to get
steamed! What the hell is taking these people so damn long at the INS?
I'm so frustrated with this all of this. It getting to be ridiculous.
Are they so under staffed that they will never be able to maintain a
reasonable time? Geez Louis! are these idiots at the INS ever going to
get their act together? Sorry folks I just needed to vent a little
frustration and by reading some of the other posts on this group I can
see there are those of you out there that feel like I do. Thanks!
