Ah-Jua

Well.... as many of you know our K-3 was approved State-side on Feb.
19th.
1st NOA Oct. 21, 2002
2nd NOA Feb. 19, 2003

Let me preface these events with a piece of information: About 2
months ago, my husband's pastor prophesied to him while praying that
he would get his visa soon. And she said that she saw the date "MARCH
15TH" boldly - and she didn't know what would happen, BUT SOMETHING
BIG WOULD HAPPEN on that day. I have to admit, I doubted if she was
was really hearing from God, but Kofi has alot of faith - he even was
a bit perturbed at my lack of faith. I have TRULY WALLOWED IN UNBELEIF
AND DEPRESSION AND AT TIMES I'VE FELT IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, THE VISA
WILL NEVER COME. But, anyway, as far as what will happen on that day
- though we do not know for sure, we both want to believe he will fly
out on the 15th.

NOW BACK TO MY K-3 APPROVAL STORY:
Ok... well here is what has happened since we heard we were approved:
I have been trying to talk with Trudy at the US Embassy - Accra
(Ghana) and she told me to have my husband bring in a copy of our
approval... so I e-mailed a copy which he couldn't get to print at the
poor cyber cafe's there. Next I sent him an e-mail to hand-deliver to
Trudy with a link to the approval notice which I had posted online...
(don't know if she ever looked at it)...

Mon. Mar 3 Kofi (my husband) went to the embassy to meet Trudy and
they checked to see if they had his application from NVC yet. Answer -
no, but come back in one week.
March 7, 2003 Rec'd letter from NVC saying case is entered and will
reach Ghana Embassy within a week.
Mon. Mar. 10 Kofi again went, they had him wait almost 3 hours, then
he got to see someone at a window who checked - no case, "come back
again next Monday" (which is AFTER THE PROPHESIED DATE OF MARCH 15TH)

THAT NIGHT -
Kofi has a dream... He is surrounded by clouds and is with a bunch of
angels. They are waiting for something to be brought to them but Kofi
doesn't know what it is. But they do know that the devil is trying to
keep it away from them. Just then, they hear the voice of JEHOVAH -
That's right... AND JEHOVAH SAYS: "Don't worry, the devil can't keep
it away from you. I am sending my angels and they will bring it fast."
So, just then the angels take off and start flying to go bring the
thing. Then Kofi wakes up and he doesn't know what the thing is. But
as we talked of it today, we both feel the thing HAS TO BE HIS VISA.

So, I get off the phone with him at 3:30 a.m. this morning... and I
call Trudy at the Embassy (It's 9:30 a.m. there). She says right after
they sent him away yesterday, they rec'd his application packet... and
she is now ready to make fast and give him the Packet 3 paperwork. And
she said she was trying to figure out a way to call him.

I asked her how long will it take - will we have to have the interview
- since I read that it is not required by the Dept. of State. She
said, yes, he will, but not to worry - he won't have to wait in the
long line for 2 months like everyone else. She said, just send him
back right away to get the papers and she will "see to him".

SO I CALLED KOFI RIGHT AWAY AND WE ARE BOTH SO HAPPY AND BEAMING WITH
GRINS THAT CAN'T BE WIPED OFF OUR FACES. I havn't seen my baby since
Aug. but I remember well his beautiful smile. And soon we WILL be in
eachother's arms again.

Right now, God's angels are hard at work to expedite our VISA!!! I am
believing that he will be flying right on out of dare dis Saturday.

This time, I will never let him go...no overnights apart every again.
NEVER.

GOING THROUGH. TRUST HIM AND HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH. EVEN WHEN YOU
ARE IN THE DEPTHS OF DESPAIR, HE IS WITH YOU AND CARRYING YOU, THOUGH
YOU MAY NOT KNOW IT.
