K-1 visa please help
Hello everybody
My fiancé was deported (expedited removal) 235(b) (i) from the USA,
the INS at the airport returns him thinking that he is intended
immigrant without an immigrant visa. Now I am going to file a K-1
visa for him. The question is do we have to mention the deportation
with the I-129F even though they are not mention any question about
deportation??? Or any question if he has been deported.
Please let me know what is the best way?
Also the INS told him he needs to obtain permission from the attorney
general to reapply for admission into the USA.
Is anyone familiar with this process of filing I-601 and how long it
will take to have the waiver processed approve?
What does the INS consider as hardship to the U.S. citizen?
Do most applications processed for waivers get approved or denied?
Any help or guidance in this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
