Default first step for K- 1 visa?

Hi,
What documents need we to send to INS the first time?
Form I-129F, G-325A (one from me and one from my fiance who is USC) with the
photo's.
Need we send more forms the first time like affadavit,police,...
My fiancee should send this forms to INS this week, can i then visit her on
christmas in US?
Or how long have i to wait i can visit her again? ( I was this year 3 times
in US)

hi - can't remember all the 129F stuff - someone else will - but you definitely
don't need police certs and affidavits at this stage. i think your fiancé needs
to prove citizenship, you both need biog data and then the 129F with photos and
some info/proof about meeting. if i've missed anything someone else will put
you right. since my fiancé did this bit i'm not as clear on this end of the
process.

re your end, do start gathering those docs now. check the belgium us embassy
website to see if you're allowed to open a provisional file with them as this
speeds things up.

there are quite a few recent posts on visiting the US while a fiancé visa is in
process. some people have managed it - others been turned back when they got to
america. the general concensus is if you can manage it, have the visits on the
alien's homeground, as you have no guarantee of getting into america, even on a
tourist visa, when you have a fiancé application pending. do a search on the
newsgroup. you'll get a lot of different views - and then decide what's best
for you.

best of luck.

regards

Bart,

Doc Steen's website has heaps of information regarding visa info. You might
find what you need there.
http://www.mindspring.com/~docsteen/...o/visainfo.htm

Once you go to the website, you can choose to go to the K-1 pages. There
you will find a section on forms & documents

Good Luck!
