I485: "receipt date" and "notice date"

Hi folks.
My employment-based I485 is pending since June 11th and I am thinking about changing
my employer. I've heard that there is a new regulation about the possiblity for a
person like me to be able to change employers if 180 days have passed since the I485
filing date. But I've figured out that there are actially two dates on my receipt
notice: RECEIPT DATE, which is June 11, 2001 and NOTICE DATE, which is Aug 15, 2001.
Which one is supposed to be the starting date of that 180 days term?
