Default I-864 doubt..Please help???

Actually i wanted to ask if the sponsor doesnt work at the time of the
interview (though the sponsor was working at the time of filing
(I-485),
1)can the income of the person being sponsored being considered??
2)Do they consider last 3 years tax returns to decide the income level
or just the current employment at the time of interview??(and whose
income??)

I am asking this because I-864A says the beneficiary can use his
income provided he is sponsoring children or family with him. But what
will happen
if beneficiary is alone. Can i use my income alone??

Any thoughts will be appreciated

Thanks!!

I think if you and your wife filed a joint tax return then any money you or her make can count towards making 125% of the poverty line.
