Default I-751 - TSC - FYI

Well for some of you going through the Texas Service for your
I-751(s). Today I got a domestic return receipt for the BCIS TSC
stamped Mar 4, 2003, I guess confirming receipt of my I-751. Below is
a sequence of events that took place since I mailed it out.

Feb 28, 2003 - I-751 packet is mailed out to INS TSC express mail.
Mar 1, 2003 - It is received and signed for by M SALCEDO.
Mar 10, 2003 - I receive a return receipt with a Mar 4, 2003 INS TSC
Stamp.

My bet here is that I think the guys at TSC are now picking up them
applications/petitions. I am anxiously waiting to lay hands on that
NOA or the deposit of my check so that I can get hold of my case #.

We will keep you all posted.

I have a very similar timeline to yours (sent I-751 package on Feb 25). Also going through TSC and my check was cashed yesterday.

It looks like things may bee speeding up a little.

If anybody can provide more information on other filings I'll be happy to hear.

Why? You can't do anything with the case number. You can't access status of an I-751 from the BCIS online site nor can you call TSC and "demand" information on your I-751 until pass the timeline on the first NOA.

Now I am getting more concerned ...

We filed our I-751 at TSC on February 15, 2003 (it was received and signed for by M SALCEDO) - about two weeks before you, and we have receive nothing!!

No NOA and our check has not yet been cashed.

They processed yours before they processed ours!?!

I wonder if ours is lost in the paperwork shuffle?

Some coincidence, BUT all I have received from TSC confirming the
receipt of my paperwork since I paid an extra $1.75 to get one.
My paperwork was received Sat 3.01.03, but the return receipt shows a
3.04.03 stamps. I do not know whether this was Salcedo's work or
whether the stamp shows the date it was actually received by BCIS TSC
from their mail processing facility. Upto until today I have not
received an NOA from them nor have I had my check cashed.
I will give them upto until Friday before I have get my phone into the
auto-redial mode to circumvent the busy signals on their information
line.

I think the lawyers who post here say that the timelines for the same
form filed at the same place at the same time are never likely to be the
same. I have also read that all the "processing time" numbers are simply
semi-educated guesses. In other words, you shouldn't be surprised by
this at all
