Default I-130 Montreal interview; can it be moved to Vancouver?

I've been told that an I-130 petition interview can only happen in
Montreal. Is there any way to get it moved to Vancouver? Or, even better,
Calgary? Or, am I dreaming in technicolor?

Thanks!

David

Dreaming, I'm afraid. There is only one location in all of Canada that handles immigration visas and that is the US Consulate in Montreal. Has been that way since '98.

The Vancouver consulate processes K-3 visas as well as Montreal. Or are K-3s considered non-immigrant visas like the K-1, even though they have previously filed an I-130 immigrant petition?

K visas are non-immigration visas. One must apply for adjustment of status within the US to permanent resident. I-130 approved abroad will enter the US as [conditional/permanent] residents.
