You're ALWAYS in God's Mercy
I hope your ASC is Vermont, because this will likely buy you some more time for USCIS to send you an RFE for the divorce decree. And from the way things are going with VSC, God Willing you're in a good shape. Hang in there buddy.
Did you tell your wife about her responsibility over you since she signed the affidavit of support?
LL,
Any news with your case?

LL,
Do you check your online case status portflio often? When was the last touch/update?
I noticed they touched on my I-751 3 days after my biometrics. Do you think they started working (i.e an adjudicating officer) on the case, or is it just a linkage between the application itself and the biometrics?

Now she is really MAD and telling me that she will try her best to delay the divorce (I guess someone might explain to her the positive consequences for me if she signs the divorce papers).
So guys I am dependent on her at this point...
I am realizing the fact that even though you been in a bonafide marriage and have good evidence you will always still remain on the mercy of your spouse specially in cases such as mine.

Well, my Divorce Lawyer tells me that nobody can push her to sign those papers or respond, according to him I should NOT bother her at this point as in his experinec divorce can bring about strange behaviors...
I am looking things at a different angle; i.e. right now WHO can dictate terms so in my case my Wife has an upper hand. I can only HUMBLY request her to cooperate or rather wait.

You have a lawyer, let her handle things. Also, as I explained to a client this morning -- the lawyer fights in his divorce ended with a settlement agreement which proved the bona fides of the relationship. And let your lawyer decide on what to say about the I-864.

o,
There are 3 ASCs that serve Vermont (only 1 of which is in Vermont).
But in any case what has an ASC to do with a case of this type?

Sounds more like she's 180, or is the late-breaking news that she wants to reconcile?

Guys I need some advice regarding MOVING while my I 751 waiver case will be pending. My current lease will be expiring next month and therefore at that point I will need to decide whether to extend it or not. I have contemplated the following options:
1. Not to extend my lease and move out next month (updating AR - 11 form online) in first week of April 2010, so that my NOA, biometrics apt and RFE comes to new address.
2. Change my lease to month-to-month (which will increase the rent amount) with keeping in mind that I have to give two months of advance notice to vacate. In this case I will NOT be having the risk of not getting the important mails/notifications from USCIS.
3. Extend the lease to another 6 months and stay at my current address till I get the final decision on my case.
You all must be thinking why the hack he needs to MOVE at this point. Well, as you all know my divorce case is also pending and its outcome will directly impact the decision of my I 751 waiver case. So, if I don't get the divorce decree in due time my I 751 will be denied (on technicality) thus terminating my work authorization. So, if I think of a scenario with "quick processing" I will get an REF at the end of march 2010 which with 87 days to respond will allow me to work till June 2010. So I will not have to worry about financial constraints (GOD WILLING) by June 2010. But after June 2010 I will not be able to sustain my self very long if I needed to pay the rent of my current apartment.
Sorry guys I do not wanted to make this post ambiguous as well as lengthy it requires some detail to understand my reasoning so that you guys will able to respond.

Don't count on the AR11 getting updated in time for your waiver to be processed, I moved and did the AR11... 7 months after I submitted it they still wanted to interview me in a different state, call the 1800 number tell them, also get an info pass and get the IO name and keep the infopass appointment slip, get them to physically enter your change of address (if indeed you do move)...cover all angles.
