Nebraska center
Check cashed 01/31/07
Notice Date 01/31/07
NOA and fingerprint moticed mailed on 02/21/07
fingerprint taken 03/03/07

One question for you guys, the NOA said there is a 1 yr extension to work and travel. Does this mean I can travel outside the US and come back in with this NOA and my expired 2 yr green card?

Good luck to everyone.

Yes... as long as you understand that you can still be refused entry at the sole discretion of the officer at the PoE.

Well as long as we're posting time lines.

Application entered into their system 8/23/06
Extension Letter 8/30/06
Biometrics Letter 9/1/06
Biometrics Taken 9/8/06

Hoping that it will get approved in the next week or so, we'll see.

We sent our I-751 off today from Oregon to Nebraska. Let's see how it moves along. Good luck, everyone!

Hi KKG

Whats going on. It seems you are the closest.
I read people with CSC (california service center) are getting their approvals in less than 2 months. What's wrong with Nebraska....Hell!!

KKG, do post this thread.... :-)

But this wait is much easier than the wait for the I-129 to get approved!

They will get to it, in order, as soon as they process the 68,353 applicants who filed ahead of you in the 2 days before you.

can somebody educate me regrading the significance of processing times?
i thought that (say for ex. the processing time is aug 19th, 2006), they should have reached a decision on all (majority) the applications with receipt date on or before aug 18th, 2006. is this the case normally?. thanks in advance.
