Default I-751 Csc Very Confusing Status Info

I just spoke with a customer rep by calling BCIS customer service #. A
guy picked rather quickly(about 1 minute wait time instead of the usual
30 minutes). He asked me for my receipt # and verifyed my info. Then he
said that my case is still in CSC but "ups, this might be going to the
district". Thn he appologised and said that they are not supposed to
give such information because they do not want to "confuse the client",
and that my file is still in CSC and not being transfered anywhere.
Then he said that it usually takes about two years to approve (what a
pure lie), and that CSC is working on June cases (in reality they are
working on Oct cases).
I am not sure what to believe, this guy was so horrible. Do I have to
get ready for the news that i will have an interview? Anyone with info
about calls that do not go to the central customer support service, he
acted like he has more info than the regular reps.
I filed Dec 27, 2005 in CSC, sent plenty of documents plus five
notarized affidavits from US citizens following the advise of my
then-lawyer.
Any comments?

That part may actually be true. My wife and I are still waiting on ours with a NOA date of June. Several others on here sent around the same time and have yet to hear back too. Anyway, I-751's are so hard to predict. I know it's hard to believe this or make yourself relax, but I've learned that the best thing to do is just sit back and wait. IF it's an interview, then just go in there, show 'em your stuff, tell the truth, and get approved. People on here will tell you that interviewees are mostly chosen at random and it has nothing to do with what you did or did not send in.

So, when someone gets invited to the I-751 interview, do they have to bring anything with them? because usually everything is sent with I-751, then what else do they need to bring? originals or just copies? what do you guys think?

You're aware, aren't you, that you were not actually talking to a USCIS employee? The people who answer the phone are contract personnel who usually know nothing of USCIS rules and regulations... but they like to fake their way through phone calls.

No, I was not aware of this fact. So they are not actual agents? Of
course, makes sense. Thank you very much, I am little less "confused"
now!

Also be aware that the on line status of a case and the time line for
processing are not always correct either.
As someone else said, you just have to sit back, put your feet up, and
sit a spell.

Yeah, chill out. :-)

They haven't even got close to looking at your case yet. I filed at
CSC in June 2005, got an RFE in February 2006 and am still waiting to
hear anything from CSC.

As other people have pointed out, the I-751 is fairly low priority
because it doesn't really impact anything. You are still a permenant
resident and you can travel with the expired green card and extension
letter.

The extension letter that I received said it would take 330 days to
process and that I should call them if I haven't heard anything in 11
months. It looks like that timescale may be fairly accurate so just
chill out and get on with your life, you've likely got another 6
months or more to wait.

Hi Abeln,

Do you actually mean that you still have not received a response from the CSC on your I-751 petition that you filed in June 2005? not even an RFE or anything? My husband & I are getting worried because we filed our joint I-751 petition through the CSC on 8/18/05 & we have not heard anything back from the CSC going on 8 months. We did receive the NOA that extends my husbands CGC for 1 year but that's it. Now the CSC processing dates indicate that they are working on 10/11/05 which is 60 days past our date. We are worried & don't know what to do. Appreciate a response.

Fondly
June
