I-751 Aporoved... FINALLY!!!
Hi Everyone,
Well I am happy to say that our approval came in the mail today. I
was so worried that it wouldn't come before we left for Zambia, but it
did. I went on infopass and they had so many openings, even for as
early as this Thursday (Boston). I made an appointment for next
Friday. Here is our timeline:
August 24, 2005- I-751 submitted to VSC
April 7, 2006- received RFE
June 5, 2006- sent more evidence
June 29, 2006- Approval
I guess what I still need to know is whether or not we still need to do
an I 131 since my husband will be out of the country for 1 year.
Thank you to everyone who gave me advice. I really helped us get
through this.
Lili

Congratulations and yes, he does. Be sure that you leave the required evidence that you have not abandoned your residency in the US.

Can you give me an example of what type of evidence that you mean?
