I-134 Support Query
Hi!!
Does anyone know if we can use a co sponsor when using the I-134?? Although my husband is now earning more than enough to support me one of his tax returns a couple of years ago was pretty low & might not make the grade. Will that affect things now? We do have a willing co sponsor if necessary but unsure if we can use one with the I-134 or not. Any info greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Yes, most certainly he can use one. He would in that case submit HIS
I-134 AND the I-134 of the co-sponsor. The thing to do is have the
co-sponsor's affidavit in your "back pocket", ready to whip out, if the
consulate does not accept his. However, from the sound of things, they
will probably accept his, unless they are one of the few consulates that
checks tax returns of previous years.

Re: I-134 Support Query
From what I've read on this NG, it seems the consulate is most interested in
the current year. There have been recent college grads approved based on new
job right after graduation. The group is not shy, so someone will correct me
if I'm wrong! ;-)
