The USCIS online status used to show a last updated date. People assumed that if the online status had been updated it must mean that someone did something with - touched - the case. What that something was that someone did was good for a round of excited speculation.
Look at your online status. But I don't think USCIS shows an updated date there any longer. Regards, JEff

Re: I-129F to K-1 Visa - Timeline ONLY!
Update.
Received Police Certificate (it cost £45) and took a week to arrive. I also received my overseas police certificate after applying two months ago (it cost £65 to have my fingerprints taken at Scotland Yard to give to the foreign embassy)
One thing I can't stress hard enough is to keep a bank account open in the UK even if one is moving abroad. I didn't and after being away for twenty years it is near impossible to open an account. As a result I am having to use an old building society account with no credit card and no cheque book.(This meant I had to pay£5.60 for the £45 postal order for the police certificate)

Re: I-129F to K-1 Visa - Timeline ONLY!
Hi all,
Just an update on our K1 journey. The problem with our application and reason that payment has not been taken, is due to my USC fiances bank merging with another bank. The routing numbers changed and they couldnt process the payment.
So here we go again he will be sending it off to them today or tomorrow and we can get properly started
