Default with husband or without?

Hi everyone!
I have an interview in two weeks. In the letter they sent to us they didn't
mention that my husband (US sitizen) has to be present during the interview.
We called the embassy and asked if it's necessary that he comes and they
said it's up to us to decide.
Is it better for me that he comes or he shouldn't come or he should come and
stay behind the door?

I think whatever way is fine. I didn't have any problems going through London without my husband, and I don't think anyone else really did either.

In general, I think it's fine if you go alone. That being said, it depends on if you anticipate any problems or not where it may be helpful for your husband to be there to assist with background. If not, save the money.

I am the USC and I'm going to Turkey to be with my fiance for his interview, but I have a particular reasoning behind it. I want the CO to see first-hand that I can communicate with him in his native language. That alleviates a lot of communication problem questions. Also, I am more familiar with the Packet 3 paperwork since I'm the one who filled in most of it. If they need something, I'm familiar with the forms and can find what they need faster. And last but not least, it's a chance to spend more time with my honey...I haven't seen him in more than a year!!

There is no right answer to your question. It's whatever you both feel comfortable with.

Best Wishes!
Rene
