How long can i wait?
Ok I have had the medical in London and am about to send the DS-230 form to London.
My question is! We are not thinking of moving till sometime into next year.
I thought i read on the forum that when/if you get the OK from the interview, i have a set time before i Have to activate the visa by going through the us customs.
Is this the case? If so do i have to move and live in the US or can it be done with just a weeks trip to the US and do the move later?

When you get the visa you have 6 months to use it. You can fly to New York (or another place in the US) enter and turn round and come straight back.
If you activate the visa this way you should plan to move permanently within 6 months of the activation to be on the safe side.
