Help! wife and me not in good terms anymore :(
Heres my story:
I met my now wife in the gym shes been in the US illegally for 4 yrs,
im the USC...shes so nice and we hit if off really good. After few
months of going out i asked her to marry me thinking shes in love
with me. We got married and filed our papers for AOS and I-130, even
if we are married she still lives with her employer and only go home
weekends....to cut the story short she now gets her conditional
greencard!!! She never goes home anymore and stays in her employers
house even when weekend saying shes working overtime and cant get out
of there....the other day i called her and we had a fight. She said
her lawyer said she doesnt need me anymore bcuz she has a conditional
greencard.....she wants me to file for a divorce or she will I
really love her but i found out she used me to get her papers. She now
wants me out of her life.
My question is how easy is it for her to get her condition removed and
what will happen to the petition i filed for her kids in her home
country...i petition them as their stepfather....she said she can get
then on her own now....is she right? can she now stay in the US
permanently even when we get a divorce?
its very unfortunate for me to fall for this girl...if i dont file
with her jointly to get her condition removed will she be deported or
her greencard taken from her?
thanks for all the input please let me know....

She can't divorce you and stay here unless you abused her. She is probably
hoping that you divorce her, then she can stay. Wait until it's time for her
conditions to be lifted and then refuse to sign the papers for her adjustment of
status in two years time. That or just divorce her now and get on with your
life. Who is her sponsor?
