In fairness, I have come to the conclusion that I need to take a chill pill. It seems to me that the "problems" that may lead to denial really don't apply in my case. Our case isn't entirely straightforward but I think the possible roads to denial criminal record, drugs, public health and public charge are not a factor for me, so I am forcing myself to keep my rational head on!

Completely agree with this. I used to worry like the OP (despite there being no reason to!), yet now having entered the US countless times I really have no concerns.
