The online status changed on the 17th and again on the 22nd of this month. Anyone have this happen to them?

Sometimes they send out multiple notices for the same thing.

10/16/2007: Card production ordered
10/19/2007: Card production ordered
10/26/2007: Mailed notification that I-765 approved

which date should I believe ???

Hi:

Whatever one you get by snail-mail. Note that the I-797 approval notice is an EAD for 30 days.

Folinskyinla - Just to clarify... Is it the Approval notice that is an EAD for 30 days versus the Notice of Production??? Should we expect an approval notice in the snail mail before the actual EAD card? Thanks

I had a very similar situation a few weeks before you.
I received an email that my EAD card was ordered for production on Sep 26. I then received the same notice on Oct 1. On OCt 10, I received an email saying that my EAD card was approved and that the approval notice was sent.
A few days later my lawyer reiceved the Approval letter, while I received my card. I am starting work on Monday!!!
